Real-time Air Quality Monitoring by PurpleAir

The Purple Air Zen sensor specializes in monitoring particulate matter in the air. It uses laser particle counters to quantify air pollution and acquire real-time data on a map, providing access from any smart device.

Ability to monitor parameters:

Particulate Matter (PM2.5 and PM10): Surveys tiny particles (from dust and pollen to soot and sea salts).

  • PM2.5: These are the most dangerous, as they can penetrate deep into the lungs and bloodstream.

Air Quality Index (AQI): Translates particulate matter concentrations into an easy-to-understand color code to alert whether or not the air is healthy.

Dispersion Trends: Help explain how breezes transport pollutants inland or remove them.

The sensor also measures temperature, humidity, and pressure.
